A man was facing severe hardship and calamities and felt suicide was the only way out. So he got a twine and tried hanging himself on his ceiling fan, but the twine cut in the process and he crashed mercilessly on the floor. The twine seemed very strong, and he wondered what made it cut. Then unrepentantly he looked for a stronger twine and decided to hang himself on a tree in a bush, but as he tied the twine to the tree, he saw a very mighty python advancing towards him. Quickly, he left the twine and ran helter skelter for his life. "What is wrong with me?" He thought angrily. Then making up his mind, he mumbled to himself: "I will go to a river and jump into it and allow myself to get drowned since I don't know how to swim."

So he went to a quiet river and as he made to jump in, a mighty shark surfaced on the water with open fangs and advanced menacingly towards him. Screaming, he tried running away but collided with a stranger standing right behind him. The stranger called his name and stretched out his hand to hold him, but the man was so scared he wanted to run away. Standing right in between a stranger and a shark, he did not know which he dreaded more, but the stranger was mild, and kindly urged him to take his outstretched hand, while the shark was fierce and menacing. Shivering with fear, he stuttered, addressing the stranger:

"W-who are y-you? And h-how d-did you know m-my n-name?"

The stranger just shrugged without a reply, still stretching out his hand. Then a heavy storm began. Unable to make a better decision, the frightened man put his hand in the assuring hand of the stranger, and the stranger saved him from the shark and the storm, leading him into a beautiful new life. Guess who the stranger was.
